Why be based at one hotel?

43
  • One amazing destination with endless ride options
  • Less packing & unpacking, less time in a van
  • Riccione offers such a variety of rides and places to see. People certainly won’t be disappointed
  • More time to holiday (or be on conference), more time to ride
  • You can do more than just riding – you can have the afternoon to explore the town, do some shopping, sit on the beach, and visit the sights.
  • You can unwind more, without the hassle of checking you have everything
  • Plus if you don’t want to ride you have the option of sightseeing etc
  • It also is a great way to accommodate non-riding partners. As there is plenty to do while their partner is out riding.

How do I get there ?

  • By train: station Rimini (7 km) or Riccione and get a cab to the hotel.
  • Riccione is easily accessible by Train from Milan or Rome. From Milan it’s a 3 hour train ride. There are direct Trains to Rimini (The next town from Riccione) From here you can take the local bus or train to Riccione. Or there is a regional train from Milan Via Bologna to Riccione.
  • It is also possible to catch the train from Rome, via Bologna to Riccione
  • By airplane: Bologna is the closest airport (120 km).
  • There are few airlines that offer flights to Bologna. Again from Bologna it’s an easy train ride to Riccione.
  • It's possible to extend the stay at the hotel (ask for rates)

What are the rides like?

811
  • The rides depart from the Hotel at 9.30 a.m. and return around 2.30 p.m.
  • The bike ride routes will be interesting and varied.  We have limitless route options; each day you’ll be amazed by what you see including tiny medieval villages, beautiful coastline and truly scenic hills .
  • Each day we’ll ride between 60 to 100km, through the amazing country side around Riccione. We’ll have time for a quick coffee stop or a magnificent traditional Italian lunch during the Olive Plantation tour or the coffee making tour. These 2 rides aren’t to be missed.
  • Please Note: The main riding options around Riccione cater for the more experienced rider. Riccione and its surrounds have a varied landscape, with flat coastal rides and hilly terrain behind. We normally cater for the avid cyclists - but given the access to so many routes we will adjust activities to best meet the needs of all delegates.

Can I rent a bike ?

  • If you wish to rent a bike it will be €50 per day. This will not be a problem as there are plenty of bike shops around town. Plus the main bike shop that the hotel uses has a lot of hire bikes to rent out.
